Political parties are the pillars of modern democracies. They are essential with a view to create active political actors and policy-making, which – by means of Elections and legitimate ruling – are translated into political solutions. Hence, in the capacity of political life creators, the political parties are not only potential power holders, but are also responsible for fostering the principles of democracy. It is because of this reason that supervision of their financing is important with a view to create and maintain a stable and legitimate political system.
